ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Laura Tonkin, a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Transformation Specialist with over five years of experience helping clients in both the U.S. and the U.K. achieve lasting results through movement, mindset, and consistency.

From the very beginning, I knew fitness was more than just a hobby for me — it was a calling. That’s why I earned my Degree in Sport & Exercise Science, a program deeply rooted in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports performance. This education gave me a deep understanding of how the body works, how muscles move, and how to train safely and effectively for real, long-term results.

My approach to coaching goes far beyond workouts and diets. Every plan I create is science-based and tailored to the individual, utilizing five science-based concepts:

  • Exercise Physiology & Human Performance: Programs that help you build strength, endurance, and confidence — safely and progressively.

  • Biomechanics: Movement patterns matter. I’ll teach you how to lift, move, and perform with power and control while minimizing risk of injury.

  • Psychology & Mindset: Real transformation begins with how you think. Together, we’ll strengthen both your body and your mindset.

  • Nutrition: Simple, sustainable strategies that support performance, recovery, and everyday energy.

  • Injury Prevention & Rehab: Every plan includes corrective work to keep your body balanced, mobile, and pain-free.

My mission is to educate, empower, and inspire — helping you understand why your body responds the way it does, so you can take control of your health for life.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me on the soccer field. I’ve played since childhood, and my dream of becoming a professional player taught me the same discipline, teamwork, and determination I bring to every training session.

During this 90 day transformation, you will have access to our 90 Day Nutrition & Accountability Program. Our nutrition program takes a personalized approach to diet and that has been crucial to our past success.

We are each unique with different genetic and lifestyle factors. This means that what might work for one person; might not work for another. By understanding and addressing these individual factors, we create a nutrition plan that is specifically designed to meet your needs and help you achieve your health goals.

Utilizing personalized support, constant adjustments and consistent motivation, this program allows you to adopt new small habits and lifestyle changes that make maintainable, life-long results. What’s Included?

24/7 Online Coaching Support: You will have access to an app that will allow you to track your habits, your workouts, your measurements, your food and also allows your to connect with your trainer online at any time. This valuable resource helps to streamline your experience and track your progress, and provides you with the expert support you need to be successful.

24/7 Gym Access and Classes: You will have access to the gym 24/7 and the availability to take classes if you want or if your trainer recommends.

Body Composition Scans: These scans will tell you your BMI, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, your basal metabolic rate (calories burned at rest), highlight any muscle imbalances and allows you to compare scans. We will do one at the start of your journey, one after your first 30 days, one after 60 days in and the final one at 90 days to track progress and make adjustments where needed.

Expert 1:1 Personal Training: You will meet with your certified personal trainer 3 x a week and they will create and structure a training program designed to target your goals. Your trainer will work with you throughout your session ensure each aspect of your program is implemented correctly and provide support and accountability.

90 Day Nutrition and Accountability Program: Within your 90 Day Transformation, you will receive access to our 90 Day Nutrition & Accountability Program. You will meet 1:1 on a weekly basis (this can be online or in-person) with a certified nutritionist who will explain what you should be eating on a day to day basis and how to implement those changes to fit around your lifestyle. This program also gives you access to our comprehensive toolkit, including meal prep guides, healthy recipes, and tips for overcoming common challenges.

1. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THE 90 DAY TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM?

From this program, you can expect to see significant changes in your body, an improvement in your metal health and confidence and an overall improvement in your quality of life. By the end of the program, you will know which how to create and maintain positive habits, what you should be eating and how you should train to reach your unique needs and goals.

2. WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER WORKED OUT? OR HAVE OTHER CONSIDERATIONS?

If you have never worked out before, then this program is a great way to start. We will discuss current and past habits to assess your current fitness level and complete a movement screening before developing your plan moving forward. This will reduce the risk of overtraining and injuries that usually affect beginners. If extra support outside of our program is needed, your coach will support you with finding your next best route or addition.

3. WHAT IF I'M AWAY, ON HOLIDAY OR MISS SESSIONS?

You can always pause your program for the time you are away and restart right where you left off. Your coach is also available online for support and advice while you are away. Your coach will always there to support you and provide consistent check-ins for you. Our aim is to help support you, keep you accountable but also be flexible for you to enjoy your life.
